The Burke Mountain Motel is a couples lodge in the heart of some of the most beautiful scenery in the North East. We strive to make your stay as comfortable and as carefree as possible. Our vacationers come out here to the Burke Mountain lodge in order to enjoy the tranquility of the natural setting, the beauty of our rolling hills, crystal lakes, and colorful foliage. We respect your privacy, but we’re also here if you should need anything to improve the experience of your stay with us.
Though we call ourselves a motel, the name is really more of a poke at some of the other high-end glam-style resorts we’ve seen popping up over the years. We’d like to think that we’ve always provided a top-quality hotel experience without all the hype. Indeed, we’ve had our fair share of dignitaries and jet-setters come through over the years, and they come for the stunning setting that our property affords.
If you’re into outdoor activities, the motel has a full range of guided or non-guided tours around the area, including maps marked with top attractions. We rent canoes, classic motorcycles, bicycles and even have one classic 1950s Ford that we lend to guests.
In addition to the biking trails and canoe trips for the summer, we have a whole range of winter activities as well. If you’d like to give snowmobiling a try, we have a few here on the property that we maintain and rent out, with or without a guide, and we can also fit you with skis and snowshoes. We have a bit of a limited number of skis, but if we aren’t able to find your size, let us know and we’ll get a local outfitter to bring over whatever you so desire.
As far as accommodations, look to the accommodations link at the top of the page. Breakfast is always included in your stay (we have a phenomenal in-house chef) and we serve lunch and dinner as well. There are also a number of interesting restaurants within the vicinity that are well worth a visit if you plan to stay a while.
